As both a family and restorative dental specialist, Dr. Sean M. Langton has dedicated his practice to the innovative field of biomimetic dentistry. This leading-edge approach combines scientific principles with conservative dental techniques to preserve natural tooth structure while delivering exceptional results. After a successful early career in investment banking, he discovered his true calling in dentistry and redirected his professional path toward health care.

Innovation in Dentistry

Dr. Langton is the inventor of Litewing®, a patented intraoral diagnostic lighting system that uses advanced transillumination and macro photography to detect hard and soft tissue pathology—without ionizing radiation. The system was granted full U.S. patent status in April 2023 and represents a novel step forward in safe, accurate dental diagnostics.

Community Outreach

Each year, Dr. Langton joins a team of dedicated volunteers with musician Lenny Kravitz and the GLO Good Foundation and Let Love Rule Foundation to deliver essential dental care to those in need throughout the Eleuthera, Bahamas. Together, they transform local churches into temporary dental clinics equipped to serve hundreds of patients.

During their most recent humanitarian mission, the team provided vital dental and medical treatment to approximately 1,200 children and adults in just one week. For Dr. Langton, these service trips reflect his core belief that healthy, beautiful smiles have the power to unite communities and transform lives.

Personal Life

A Melrose native, Dr. Langton met his wife, Jimena, during their undergraduate years at Trinity College. They now live in Lexington, Massachusetts with their three sons: Luca, Marco, and Elio. As a father and community member, he brings compassion, excellence, and purpose to every aspect of his work and life.

When not focused on dentistry, Dr. Langton cherishes quality time with his family exploring New England's diverse culinary scene, staying active through various fitness activities, and taking part in travel adventures.
