His interest in dentistry began because of his uncle, who was an orthodontist. When Dr. Lakkis was a patient with braces, he would stay after his appointments to watch what happened in the office. He enjoyed seeing the different cases that came in each day. What impressed him most was seeing how dental care could truly help people - fixing their problems and building their confidence. This early look at dentistry created a passion that still shapes how he cares for his patients today.

Dr. Lakkis lives in West Roxbury and puts his family first in everything he does. He and his wife Sarah enjoy hiking local trails, going to the beach, and trying new restaurants in their area.
